Annually Ys in Oklahoma serve over 135,000 kids and teens, providing a wide range of activities to nurture potential, including teen clubs, sports leagues and community service projects. Through the Y Oklahoma's youth are cultivating the values, skills and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health and educational achievement.

Improving the state's health & well-being
The Oklahoma Alliance of YMCAs is committed to helping people reach their full potential by promoting healthy lifestyles. We bring families closer together, foster connections through fitness, sports, and shared interests, and encourage good health by bridging the gap between clinic and community. Nearly 300,000 Oklahomans are actively engaged members at a local Y; and over 125,000 families participate in Y signature programs like:

Since the Y was founded over 160 years ago, we haver served as a local safe haven to many in need. Today, the Y is a cause-driven organization that provides affordable services and programs to meet the unique needs of each community. Whether developing skills through education and training, welcoming and connecting diverse populations through global services or preventing chronic diseases and building healthier communities; the Y fosters the care and respect all people deserve.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we use our tax-exempt status to help support children, families, and communities across Oklahoma. Our goal is to continue to enhance the Y's partnerships by delivering quality, vital programs and essential services to the community; especially those who are under-served. We are able to provide these services due to the stewardship and philanthropic support from private and public donors.
